sapper756 Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 It is looking more than likely that Fife's very own Jocky King has won the SNFC Open race from Clermont.Speaking to Jock last night at the clock station, I told him that he was a worthy winner, he replied, "well, I've hit the cross bar on a few occassions" Also 1st Open Fife Federationhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gif Here is hoping that this is confirmed soonhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gif

Novice Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 He can only be described as Mr. Consistent.I hope he does it this time.
Delboy Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 A dodgy start for Jocky this year but turned it round in last 2 nationals.IMO, the best distance flier in Scotland at present.Very well done Jocky King.
andy Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 A dodgy start for Jocky this year but turned it round in last 2 nationals.IMO, the best distance flier in Scotland at present.Very well done Jocky King.Great flyer Derek, but still think Bozzy has the edge on all.
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Long distance legend and you'd have to say the worthiest of winners after a few near misses PS fair play tae Mystic Hood
St Finnan Loft Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Yes Jock has been consistent over a the years and deserves all the praise, consistency is harder to achieve than one big win and more respected in my book.
walterbmasson Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Long distance legend and you'd have to say the worthiest of winners after a few near misses PS fair play tae Mystic Hood Spot on lewis well done JOCKY KING very worthy winner ?
Delboy Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Great flyer Derek, but still think Bozzy has the edge on all. Bozzy is brilliant also and maybe a better all round flier but for extreme distances my pick is King. Bozzys loft location is much better also.
Henrik Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Bozzy is brilliant also and maybe a better all round flier but for extreme distances my pick is King. Bozzys loft location is much better also.Where do you get the idea Bozzie is a better location? He is about 16mls due South of Kirkcaldy so not that much difference
Delboy Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Where do you get the idea Bozzie is a better location? He is about 16mls due South of Kirkcaldy so not that much difference Not much better BUT better.Put it this way, everyone in the small village of Elphinstone have either won a national or been very close, u cant say the same about Fife. Im not taking anything away from Bozzy, top dooman, thats unquestionable.

Delboy Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Thats got more to do with the dedication of the doomen in Elphinstone rather than the location I would think. Dedicated doomen everywhere Bobby, but im sure if I said to Bozzie if someone flew there birds 16 miles south east of him, would they be in a better location for flying Nationals. His answer would be YES. We are losing the plot here, well done Jocky King in winning the Clermont nat.
