Chris Little Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 When did it become apparent that there was to be a separate liberation. Part of the bargaining for this race was that the SNFC birds would get a good lift up the road from our English counterparts.
blue63 Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 Well done to my mate Tom Keenan of Duns great bird over here in the East also very well done to the 3 great birds into the South in a really trying hard race
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 Today is without doubt the worst second day in a race that i can remember in the last 29 years, tomorrow is no better and there is very little chance on getting a pigeon into central Scotland tomorrow, rain all day from the Scottish border up to central Scotland, miracle required. Image below is whats forecast at 07.00 and it doesn't change all day.

midnight_son Posted July 10, 2012 Author Report Posted July 10, 2012 I would have beaten Usain Bolt and been exhausted bringing it to you Ha ! Richard Combe is approaching his mid 60s, he's not sprinting anywhere on the 3rd day ! I've seen him raise a gallop when he has timed on the night and the adrenalin is flowing but I think its just a relief to see one at this stage.

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 Jock Alston has timed a doo at 17.53 which hopefully should just make 400ypm and then make the result which is excellent news.
