Federer was brilliant there :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

yes and I think that is the main difference,I think he is just a little bit too clever, would love to be wrong but I think after losing that set when he had chances in Federers last two service games he may have missed the boat and also with the roof closing again I think that makes it more in Federers favour as it now is an indoor match which he excels at but

COME ON ANDY

Roland you will probably know that our present government has learned the lessons of how to keep the ignorant peasantry in check. They have organised a royal wedding,a diamond jubilee and an £11 billion olympic games all to occupy our minds and prevent unruly behaviour.I hopr Andy Murray does it today for all of the UK and I can go back to my main interest in my old age which is caring for my 50 or so mediocre racing pigeons which give me such joy every day

Me too. Like I say, I don't wish him ill, indeed I hope he wins. But I wouldn't pee in his ear if his moddled brain was on fire. He is full of it. A wealthy snob with an unwarrented axe to wield, let alone grind.

plus I certainly wouldn't down any Brits moment of glory, be it an First class A$sehole or not.

I shouted my self hoarse time in the Olympics when the Welsh girl won our YES our' first gold, likewise with Hoy and then Pendleton alike.

Even cheer the home side at soccer, rugby etc, and the individuals too, but if against a English opponent, then ofcourse they comes first.

Like you say, back to enjoying the pigeons.

this is the very reason why i will be hoping the other fella wins,mr murray tried to back track on comments he has made in the past.if he had kept his gob shut,i along with the vast majority of britain would be willing him on to win

Well that was his best chance ever and he blewit. Well the truth is he wasn'nae good enough. federerr is possible way down on the slippery slide downwards, so .... Certainly not the force he once was, but still played very well by all accounts - never watched it myself. one of the few sports I've never been in the slihtst interested in.

Murphy will never have such a good chance again, that's for sure. So realistically he'll never win at SW19 that's for sure. Many good and eager youngsters coming through too.

Mind, his brother, did win a title, abeit in the doubles, without Andy of course as he has changed partners. Seems to have worked too. So he did well and no one seems to have noticed. Well done Johnathon.
