JohnQuinn Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 IMO, the route has absolutely nothing to do with this race today, the doos couldn't get through the rain or the hills. Ps, i voted to go East and wanted to go with the SNFC to our longest races, neither of which i got. I say again though today's debauched race was due to the weather, Not the route.

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 Let the young bird season be completed down the west as per AGM decision, then the members will base there decision at the next AGM for 2013 on factual returns and compare it to previous years poor returns with young birds down the east.
ALF Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 why not approach a Fed on the East side and ask to basket them as trainers ?? AWKWARD FOR ME EVERY 2ND WEEK ANDY BECAUSE I WORK SHIFTS MATE BUT I TRY MY BEST TO GET AROUND IT PAL
andy Burgess Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 AWKWARD FOR ME EVERY 2ND WEEK ANDY BECAUSE I WORK SHIFTS MATE BUT I TRY MY BEST TO GET AROUND IT PAL was an idea , may work ??
Guest bigda Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 i would vote for the 2 transporters, one to go to the west route, and one for the east, the reason i say this is to stop the fed from splitting up. i think we would have to give it a go, to keep the west guys happy and also the guys in the east and if there were as bad racing down either, there they would all under stand that. trying to ride rough shod aint the answer. we need all the members we can get, but choice should be given this year. bigda here for the under dog.then there can be a new vote the next year.
gulkie Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 why don't u pick up ur dummies and get on with what was voted for
bigjamie Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 its not just the west rout thats getting it bad its happening all over the place the birds dont like them east winds and the weather so far for racing has been very poor i spoke to an old guy that races the birds he said the lofts will be empty all over the place with these east winds and bye god he was right they dont like it one bit east or west there dropping like flys and its all down to the weather

WHY WERE THE LIBBED IF THE WEATHER WAS BAD CANT SEE ANY SENSE IN THAT WHEN THEY WERE ALREADY HELD OVER FOR BAD WEATHER ,
gulkie Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 shear panic thats why they were liberated they are damed if they do and damed if they don't NO ONE TO BLAME BUT THE WEATHER
Joe_b Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 the guys going down east getting it just as bad our loss are the wether not the rout west winds allways have bit north in them too birds just been blown away yesterdays disaster was due to yearling open no matter what the birds were going to easy for u sh** stirrers not getting fed possisions to keep crying go east u for get disastrs down there if dont like route go with av or pentland get same losses NOT ONE RACE THIS YEAR CAN BE BLAMED ON ROUTE BUT BEEN THE WETHER
ALF Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 No sh** stirring from me my yb's were never going west I have said it before the racing started never been to worried about yb racing anyway they will just go as trainers same as last year
tom corrie Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Nothing to do with the route it is the contiuose east winds that is taking its toll they dont like it up em But i must say it beggars belief as to how those birds were liberated it was nothing but a total balls up
Delboy Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Jim Hannah 27/31, it seems it wasnt that bad a race.
