Pigeons were still working through Moffat in batches of 20's and 30's between 12-45 and 1-30 wind was still pretty strong then sun came out back of one and things warmed up since ,none flying around the town now so must have all cleared good luck .

Only if what was said at the AGM by officials we would be racing tomorrow from Wollaston in the yearling duplication race but NO we go to Lostown take the members money take a percentage off it then save money by cancelling a longer race so they dont need to mark on a Thursday night and take more money of the member for a duplication race well done Lanarkshire fed for looking after the bank account again :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Timed at 10.31 doing roughly 1610 (from what I can work out, no measurements yet!)out of Longtown with Ayrshire today - 100% returns for most so a blessing in disguise but a fast race

Your velocity is trouncing Lanarkshire by approx 220 ypm. Looks like that some daft lanarkshire pigeons with there stored up energy (conditioned for a 250 mile race) decided to burn of there fuel by heading to the west coast.

Have no doubt that some Lanarkshire pigeons flew the distance of Wollaston and most likely further today, which will only stand them in good stead for the coming weeks.

Did you win today Baz???

Have to say i`m also with the midland fed and have lost 6 birds racing which i thing is ok ,we came back to appleby on sat and going by club returns it was a great race with the birds doing over 50 mph.

think you need to ask why your fed could not lib your birds yesterday when others were on the same route and had a race .please dont give me lanarkshire v midland not interested, only giving my thoughts .
