sapper756 Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Went to the local tip site with all the Xmas rubbish, but when I got there I noticed a lot of cars heading in the opposite direction filled with rubbish, a sign on the gate said CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WINDS. rembrant2coo Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 My son and the grandchildren left this morning to go back home to Bedfordshire at 8-00 this morning ,they are stuck on the train between the rail bridge and inverkeithing, there seems to be trees down on the line on the Edinburgh side ,and all east coast lines have cancelled the rest of the journeys south from Edinburgh as well, just heard the trains have ben all cancelled in the Fife area as well going to Dundee and Perth , think i,ll be having the g/children another day yet

andy Burgess Posted January 3, 2012 Author Report Posted January 3, 2012 just been out again ,trail of destruction here ,fence panel out and a ridge tile missing for us also greenhouse now just a frame work. next door neighbour lost a ruck of roof tiles, accross the way lost 2 runs of roof tiles an the ridge and a 40 foot run of fence down , elderly neighbours the other side , greenhouse in a mess broken glass every where .
