Only got to know George over the last few years going on trips to Blackpool and often he would just turn up at my door with a late bred as a gift just to help me out or he would invite me up to his loft and show me his fantastic birds or his methods. A gentleman of the highest order.

Scottish pigeon racing has lost a legend

REST IN PEACE BIG GEORGE.

Very sad news, the impression George made on long distance racing into Western Scotland will never be equalled. His enthusiasm for his family and pigeons was unrivalled and his generosity to his peers humbling, this separated George from all but a few. R.I.P George and God Bless all of the Family.
