Do their doos have some of the old Harrison blood in them??Not sure Lewis, think he was related to Logie Davidson of Douglas Water and that was their base.But I do know he bred some good birds that have done well for others esp Jocky King to name but one, the hen he got was a wee gold mine at stock.
rebel Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 not wanting to put a damp squib on anybodies preformancies but eadie and kelly flying some 70 miles shorter had 11 birds in a little over an hour the snfc birds on an average were doing just 1300 for the winners from 2339 birds and the snrpc had 190 birds away so let get things into perspective big fish small pond

rebel Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 600 miles dont think so the race point is between the coast and paris, big flock,snrpc were with the unc how many birds did they have all i am saying is there should be a little more credit to vthe fanciers who were flying in a competetive race of 2300 plus birds ,the west sect birds in the fontery race amounted to some 30 odd birds good birds but are they any better or worse than the 900 plus birds that competed in the snfc race the same day in the west sect
