yeboah Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 dont think thay will be up till saterday mate all the bestAfter watching the BBC forecast and the speed at which the weather front is crossing the country on Friday think you are spot on for Saturday ,my worry now is how my sprinter that has won its last two in a strong NE will cope with a south
yeboah Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 how many birds are we talking about here,at this race. i think by the looks of the national they should only have one race, it has got that bad, about 600 birds is it, for the prime race of the year. there needs to be something done in both nats as i belive the other will be no more than 200 birds, get a grip lads.Spot on Danny ,time we were all going as one again just a nonsense as it stands .
Guest bigda Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Spot on Danny ,time we were all going as one again just a nonsense as it stands . yes i belive the members should demand, that the national be brought back into the fold they could have a dual race within, and each have a duplacations into each nat race.on the day from the libfor the first 2 years then total 1 nat only

midnight_son Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Looks good for tomorrow at the moment. If the forecast is right then should get an early morning liberation, sun at the race point, broken cloud and sun over most of England with a cloudy but dry home end in the evening. Light west winds, 40-42mph for the winners with birds flying up to 600 miles on the night. Sounds good to me. See link below for weather in France. For those who can't speak the lingo - Vendredi is Friday ! http://france.meteofrance.com/france/accueil?xtor=AL-1

Fair Play Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Read that there are 1000 SNFC and 437 SNRPC pigeons but dont take that as gospel

Fair Play Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Just back in with the dog the wind has turned to the North with an icy chill after it being such a great day with a bit of heat in it thought the birds were going to get a break for a change still hope they do
Guest stb- Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 what distance do the boys in and around duns fly from messac with it being a westerly racepoint out of curiosity a lot further than if it were in the east
