For about 50 minutes we had strong SE wind heavy rain thunder and lightning starting to ease a little now. but looking very dark over toward the channel

been raining here since about 5.30am... still raining quite heavy and visibilty not that great!

 

meant to be breaking up between 10-11am, so hopefully a lib nearer then will be possible, were at witton castle, phone in pocket just in case... they may get chucked uo about 8am!!!

After the early storms here the sun breaking through the wind is still up dying down slowly so hopefully CSCFC and DORSET SR FED will go from CARENTAN

im offshore at the moment 135 miles east of dundee, we have sunshine 17 knot wind from south east 175dgs, 73% humidity, cloud cover at 25% at 1500 feet, temp:15dgs

 

so hopefully wont see any birds straying out here this weekend
