andy Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 i think so i said above that england would have problems getting into the second round of votes think about it this program accused the people that were voting of taking massive bribes only two days before the vote i believe there as bent as hell but not a smart thing to doSpot on mate. Also maybe England will take their heads out there own arses, realise they're not important as they think they are and stick to the premiership which is there flagship, although UEFAs french leader doesn't even like that.
Guest mick bowler Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Spot on mate. Heads up arses WTF you on about? Is there a country out there that virtually has 99% of what it takes top host a world cup? Stadia, infrastructure, accomodation etc etc etc? Russia have to build 14 new stadiums, they have to spend 10's of billions on infrastructure as well as everything else. Spain should of had a better chance than Russia. I'm afraid FIFA exco are just a bunch "of the lads", and in the world of football to the normal joe public are just a bunch of "nobodies". Who are these top knobs from the likes of Trinidad, Tahiti, Guatemala to decide on these things, hardly big fish in the soccer world are they. All in all a joke.
Walter swanston Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Probably the main reaction in Scotland is "schadenfreude"
just ask me Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 still believe it was the media that stopped england having any chance if they would have won or not i dont know
dal2 Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Probably the main reaction in Scotland is "schadenfreude" Dont know why any jock wud be speekin German Walter but do agree wae the meanin!!!
REDROCKET Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Think England came up short because they decided to go it alone,if the bid was on behalf of the United Kingdom it may well have been a celebration today for the whole nation. This country is small enough to hoast this great competition via the 4 nations, british pm dave cameron and future king william of GB (expletive removed* becks) but these two ball bags should have been promoting great britian jmo.
just ask me Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 rumour is england only got 2 votes
billt Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 rumour is england only got 2 votes Thats official
frank-123 Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 pay pack for the times newspaper who snared fifa cheats taking bribes Russia and Qatar with money to burn looks a little dodgy really sorry England lost out reckon the whole of the uk would have done well from it taking place in England

Sick of listening about the future King of England, the english prime minister, the greatest player england have possibly had. All Sh*te. Future King of BRITAIN, BRITISH Prime Minister and what the hell has David Beckham won for England, F All. Were still listening about 1966, now you've won nowt again I dont suppose we'll here much more about this :D This time the ENGLISH media have shot themselves in the foot with Panorama
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Aye Beckham Schmeckham we all know the best player of that generation, unmatched for his technical prowess on the pitch, is Emile Heskey
billt Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 I don't think many Englishmen would pick Beckham as the best player but one of the best long-ball passers in the world, yes, And why do they keep mentioning the 1966 World cup in Scotland, it never gets a mention here.

Maybe thats how England canna win much in the modern era!

Maybe the public don't talk about it that often . I think what puts off most people is the fact that alomost every competetive match England play in opens with Martin Tyler or John Motson stating how West Ham won England the cup on that oh so fateful day in Wembley

Maybe thats how England canna win much in the modern era!Plus the fact that they don't have a big choice, so many foreign players in the Prem. including the other home nations

Maybe thats how England canna win much in the modern era!Right there andy barca were all about one touch football and players that were happy with the system dont see our boys using one touch ,not many managers about like the late brian clough who made his players keep it on the ground ,closest at present is prob arsene wenger .Who is actually teaching our kids at these so called state of the art training grounds to many nightclubs me thinks .
Guest Tooshy Boy Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 rumour is england only got 2 votes 2.ONLY.
JADE Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Think England took the wrong approach. If they had sent Kate Middleton, Posh Spice and Sam Cam they might have had a chance. Especially if they locked them in a hotel for a week with old Sepp!!!
geordie1234 Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 i dont think russia should get it i dont think it will make a good world cup its got athens olympics written all over it who is going to travel to russia for a game of fitba ???????????
VMS Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Russia also have the 2014 winter games some serious backhanders me thinks,Putin also played a blinder.
Fair Play Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 If the three of them were in with me I'de have stolen it for them
VMS Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 Really quite embarrassing that the English bid received just 2 votes from 22 and 1 of those were their own, some serious PR work needed, also what a waste of BRITISH tax payers money when times are so bad for the majority of working class Brits.
