rasbull Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Deputy Manager for a Bupa Residential home. Been there for 7 years and do the rotas for the 35 staff that work there. First thing I did was book all my saturdays off and give myself all mornings so finished by 2.30pm to spend the whole afternoon and evening with the birds!

Love the job most of the time, plenty of hours and a constant battle with suppliers to try and keep the stock in. Really does not make pigeon racing a viable option with the hours but the work must be done

geordie1234 Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Work in customer service just started the job worked as a car salesmen for 3 years before that and it ment i worked every weekend 60 odd hours a week so nae good for doos and no life so now loving the job and the time off 23 hours less a week

Delboy Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Lithographic printer to trade,been self employed carpet fitter, worked on sites fitting suspended ceilings and fire protection, ran a cleaning services business, had window cleaning business,gardener with council,etc,etc,etc,must have had 10 different jobs. My ma said I couldnt stick to a glue factory. At present I am a full time dooman but money is drying up so might need to send the wife back oot to work
Tony C Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 I clean bird $hit out of cuckoo clocks, pays lousy but have loads of time to myself........... in other words retired. Worked for London Underground for 27 years before I opted out of the rat race.
