chrissyboy1
How could you have a National winner if the birds are liberated seperate ? Although i think its a good idea
shotgun tim
Correct in what you are saying derek ,should be separate liberation's for all inland nationals and as steven stated must be more central ,way it is at present fast becoming a farceALSO WHEN THE NATIONAL TRYED CHELTENHAM RACE POINT WE STILL DID WELL IN THE EAST SO WHAT HAPPENS THEN TRY FLYING FROM IRELAND????? novo10
Its unbelievable the difference in returns in the east section and the west section in the yb national. Lets all look at the gap between these sections and realise how pigeon racing really goes in Scotland. The bottom line is, the further east you are the better and easier it is for you. Now, you in the east, dont kid yourself your pigeons are better than the ones an hour or two or even 3 behind you in the west . This issue has to be addressed in the nationals, especially the yb nat. I dont know how we do this other than have separate liberations, maybe sections A, E and F and B,C,D and G. Food for thoughtwhat about d e f and a b c and g

The North boys are even further south than you guys!!!! The Eye Valley boys although in a guid position have been away with the UNC. This is a comeback race for them. Rooster J. Cogburn
Correct in what you are saying derek ,should be separate liberation's for all inland nationals and as steven stated must be more central ,way it is at present fast becoming a farce Obviously there'll always be somebody in a better position than somebody else but if you take wind etc into consideration you can still roughly work out the performance of the race.Inland National racing does seem an especially unlevel playing field though. So does anybody think the SNFC should just leave the inland racing to feds and amals and focus purely on channel racing??Inland nationals have seen some great performances in recent years and the top names are still often there regardless but if you look at why the SNFC was founded the inland races don't really carry the same prestige as the channel races no matter what spin you put on it.Of course the Inland nationals are a good selling point for a a lot Scottish fanciers and big money spinners but they do steal from other organisations and races.what would people say to the national dropping them from its programme? dal2
TIM THE WIND WAS STRONG EAST LAST WEEK WAY SNRPC , DID IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE DID IT HELL, AN EAST WIND WOULD MAKE NO DIFFERENCE M8 Its no a slate on what region gets the best of it. We are racin on the west and then have tae switch east for the nats. Now that might sound like its our fault but i do believe that for the south the west is the preferable route, even wae the murderous cumbrian hills.. The facts are that the drag wae younguns up the east coast will always make the racin tae the west frae the yb nat very diffucult and thats a fact. Feds can choose tae gan east, which the solway probs will this year, and the nat fancier will defo benifit from this but the purely selfish view frae the boys in the south that like winnin would be a more central lib from the nats. Anyway. Some crackin results the day frae some crackin fanciers on this site and I hope theres mare tae come.Hopefully some more wins tae come in the shows?
