Taylorsloft Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 it was a stupid rule anyway you could unplug the sealed pads and plug in more pads if you had them
HOMER49 Posted March 19, 2009 Author Report Posted March 19, 2009 SPOT ON MATE the one rule i thought was correct from the shu. jmo Hi hotrod 1 homer 49 0 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Cheers Homer 49
sapper756 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 it was a stupid rule anyway you could unplug the sealed pads and plug in more pads if you had them I am lead to believe, each pad registers a serial number when a ring is clocked, so surely an observant secretary would notice a non registered pad :-/
hotrod Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 I am lead to believe, each pad registers a serial number when a ring is clocked, so surely an observant secretary would notice a non registered pad :-/ IM NO BOTHERED with ets but always think that when something can be altered to an advantage would be altered by some , NOT ALL, just some , there is one's out there that would cheet if they got a chance ,as has happened with the gutty.

me Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Hi SHU have deleted the rule where sensor pads have to be sealed in position Makes club officials life a little easier :) :) Cheers Homer 49 This is great news you can now stick the pad out on the landing board to time nervous pigeons that sit out when they get back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
naedoos Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 This is great news you can now stick the pad out on the landing board to time nervous pigeons that sit out when they get back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They've still got to make it back to count!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 They've still got to make it back to count!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! up to what 10. ;D
maverick Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 This is great news you can now stick the pad out on the landing board to time nervous pigeons that sit out when they get back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT and something diffrent on the landing board is going to help them
Pigeondoll Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Why worry about 2-4 sec, buy a good toulet spend all winter working it then by summer you should know how it runs then you should be able to gain a good minute plus!!!! any system as it has been proved can be manipulated. Even T3's when first arrived they were found to have a fault that could stop the clock at anytime leaving the thimble still showing to be put in when bird came home.!!(evil)
me Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 GREAT and something diffrent on the landing board is going to help them And why would it be something different? doh!!
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Great decision to remove this rule as it did nothing, as different pads could be connected to anybody's ets at any time. To think a National winner from 500+ miles could have been disqualified because his pads were not sealed in, it would have been a tragedy.
Delboy Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 GREAT and something diffrent on the landing board is going to help them Your right m8, these guys dont understand e.t.s.We have heard all this crap before about moving pads onto house roofs and stuff. Total nonsense
eastcoaster Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Does that mean you don`t need the pad inside the loft anymore !!!!
walterbmasson Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 i agree gareth the bird has got to come home is fanciers going to chase after the bird with the pad you would have some job making them land on a pad on top of the loft what some people think up theres only one winner first home its the bird thats got to be clocked not the pad 8) 8) 8)
