Well folks what,s your plans this weekend? I,m just about to go out to the lofts, to clean them out, and give the natural team an open bowl, as they are beginning to pair up, just left them this year to select their own partners

Would like to let birds out but they got scattered with percy on Wed.will let them have a day or two's peace to get their confidence back.Percy maybe go somewhere else.

General clean out,couple of jobs to do in yb.loft,sort some electrics,take flourecsents out and put low energy in.

ah well not up to much, this time of year i dont be out lofts that much ...always make sure he breeders have what they need everyday fresh food , grit , fresh water etc ...i tend to think then the youngsters get bigger then ...  your up early like me but no rush bud for me.... ive to go get some corn stocked up ... plenty very good corn aswell mate... thats it..young look very well so far this year delighted with them... full hatch aswell goes great also ... not bad at all ... very happy hope all going well for you also mate....

Tried scrapping out this morning. Gave up s----e solid. Fed and watered only . Scared to let them out as percy and sparrowhawk never far away. Neighbour has had 7 killed in last fortnight.   :o

Not long back in from sorting out the drinkers etc. Will have a tidy out and let some pairs of the race team out their boxes trying to get them all coming and going in the next few days. Family up from Stirling tonight so will have a few wee drams   :) .

Do you have a percy problem up in oban mate?

 

 

I really got hammered early last year by the sparrow hawk untill i got the orange flashing light which definately worked. Percy is around but never saw him take any, not to say he didnt though  :-/

well paired up today hate it big time just chucked two cocks out for being to rough with the hens

try and burn some energy off then put them back in the box later

cleaned out  fed and watered ,checked all sitting tight .birds wont go out till young weaned,so will be behind in preperation when racing starts, but will take my time birds will come into form in june i hope .they havent been out since october ,this is the system i use.enjoy the day whatever your doing. best of luck breeding and racing.
