J Cooper Logistics - SHOCKING..!!!

I'm absolutely infuriated with J  Cooper Logistics.

 

I contacted them at the beginning of the week(Monday 25th May) regarding four pigeons being collected from Cumbria and delivered to Dumbartonshire, about 25 minutes North West of Glasgow. A journey of roughly three hours. The lady i spoke to was most helpful and told me the birds would be collected by Thursday at the latest. This was great news, so i duly booked the day off as to be in when the pigeons arrived. She also told me she would contact the fancier at the pick up point to let him know the situation.

 

Thursday morning (today) arrives, spent a few hours down at the loft there and thought ill phone J Cooper Logistics to check everything has went okay. The guy that answers now tells me the pigeons wont be picked up till Monday and wont be delivered till next Wednesday..!!! That'll be 10 days from when i first contacted them to when i receive my pigeons.

 

I fully understand that its not financially viable to travel to anywhere with just four birds and that specific runs have to be arranged with more birds going in the same direction.

 

They haven't even bothered to contact myself or the gentleman I'm receiving the birds from regarding any change. Or if they could have at least told when i first contacted them that it would take so long i could have made alternative arrangements. Now its going to be more hassle than its worth trying to work something else out. So ill now just have to accept waiting another week for my birds.

 

There advert in the BHW stood out as quoting 'Making Your Delivery Our Priority'.

sorry to hear that, seems like a communication breakdown! hope you get things sorted, least the wether is o.k if any consolation? ;-)
well they cant be doing much work if they are so lapsadaisy doing it  ;D ;D ;D

i rang other week and although they could collect they wouldnt give me a delivery date they could be yearlings before i got them luckly enough uk couriers are delivering today  :)

I rang Pigeon Express to have three pigeons picked up in Northumberland.  He was in Doncaster at the time.  He picked them up for me on Tuesday morning and they arrived here in Kent safe and sound Tues evening  If he can do it he will if he cant then he will tell you.

Most courriers wont come this far up Scotalnd tho...

uk couriers picked mine up yesterday from Fife  :)

Coopers picked up Pigeons from Durham at 11am yesterday morning and delivered them to Hamilton at 5.45am this morning for a friend of mine :)

Go else where mucker... and If J Cooper Logistics ASK when they eventually turn up as to why you didn't inform them that you no longer required their services... Just say 'Well from the leaf out of your boof... I just thought it didn't matter'  :o :o :K) :K) my butt! :P ::) :B :B

why did you not go and pick them up your self as you had the day off work  not that dear on the train    coopers are tottal crap and would not use them  pigeoncourier the best i have used and will not go past them

breakdown my toe pete i only used them once 2 birds going to different loc. they lost one and only offered the buyer £25 quid compo doesnt even cover the £30 quid carrage bin them and find someone else

Sorry to hear about your dilemma m8, however, I have used J Cooper Logistics twice,, and had an excellent service on both occasions :-/

I had the same experience with Coopers Told me the van had broken  down then rang me to tell me they had picked the birds up and would hold them over till the following week ( no problem ) then i get a call off the fancier telling me no one had collected the birds. I had hoped the service I had received was a one off, Apparently not.    Deborah.

IT WAS PROBABLY YOU RATHER RATHER THAN THEM CEMETARY YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW THEY DONT DELIVER COFFINS YA NUT JOB
