WulDon Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 Our first young bird race from Arniston turned out to be 'cracker' for my partner and myself, Brown & Donachie... as most fanciers know we fly two lofts at two different locations, yesterday i reckon we have set a new Fed Record which will take some beating, we had the first four in one club, first ten pigeons in the other club and the FIRST SEVENTEEN pigeons in the Fed! blowing yer own trumpet maybe, but we are chuffed to bits!!
cemetary Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 Well done mate, thats good flying. Keep the trumpet playing.
Henrik Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 Believe you,s have also set a New Federation Record for the price per bird to send to a 45ml race :D :D :D :D
DODC Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 Well done lads that will be hard to beat. ;) ;)

frank-123 Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 how have you trained your ybs and do you use the darkness well done takes a bit of doing that
Roland Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 Our first young bird race from Arniston turned out to be 'cracker' for my partner and myself, Brown & Donachie... as most fanciers know we fly two lofts at two different locations, yesterday i reckon we have set a new Fed Record which will take some beating, we had the first four in one club, first ten pigeons in the other club and the FIRST SEVENTEEN pigeons in the Fed! blowing yer own trumpet maybe, but we are chuffed to bits!! great flying .... but far from any record I'm sorry to say. Indeed Wall / Hunt and Green surpassed that on a few occasions. Busseart decicrates the Kent fed on many occassions taking all cards etc. Geaorge Gorley - A another Busseart flyer once went a season where h took at least the first 18 EVERY week at least, or so he often advertised. ( Cheshire way I believe) But by golly mucker that is certainly still some feat, and fantastic flying... no wonder you're chuffed, and so you blumming well ought to be! Well done.
Guest j.bamling Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 I think he means a record within his own federation !!! Well done mate !!!
Henrik Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 If you get the first 4 in one club someone must be 5th & in the other club someone must be 11th so that would only give you the first 14 in the Fed. Still good flying though
Guest stevie-b Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 well done to my pals top flying from to real gentelmen who put lots and lots of work into there pigeons only first 4 pigeons allowed in 1 club and 10 in the other but pigeons still qualify for fed positions as for the comment about birdages we are not a charity and must cover costs as any other fed
