I beleive that those that already have ETS have their pads sealed before the first race and recorded by club officials then at the end of the campaign the seals are then checked. Is this an accepted practise, if so will we expect to see SNFC officials going round all the ETS users lofts prior to national racing. Just curious :-/

Expanding a bit on Square Peg's thoughts which are perfectly valid points. The SNFC intend to use ETS next season. How will this work in terms of checking the pad seals before and after the race.

One particular young hen we had in 2002 returned home 3 weeks late. She was then raced as a yearling out to 300 miles with no problems. As a 2 year old she flew well picking up club prizes then she was sent to the SNFC Falaise race and she won it From that moment on I have vowed to give late young birds every chance.
