  11. zzzzz what a load of crap , whilst the whole of England are indulging in a state of sheer jubilation it has to be remembered afterall it was only Trinidad and Tobbago God help them when they face the big boys
  12. What goes round comes round. Pigeon racing is like a woman, they have good weeks and bad weeks Like everyone else from our patch we are having a difficult season , what keeps us going is the reflections of our past successes and aspirations of the future but ultimately I remind myself it is only a hobby...... not life or death
  13. Welcome Paul Pigeon Racing is the greatest sport / hobby on the planet. I am sure you will enjoy the experience However , a word of warning it does come with at a price. Of all the sports / hobbies known to mankind ( and ladies ) pigeon racing is miles ahead in terms of jealousy, pettiness, backstabbing, bad sportsmanship and sheer pathetic attitudes amongst the cliques...... sad but it is a fact.
  14. Solway Federation cancelled their race from Poole More importantly........ SNFC Newbury
  15. Scottish National Racing Pigeon Club are at Reims next week..... Bring it on !!!!! ;D ;D
  16. Good point there Stu For months now many had accepted the fact that channel racing racing was dead and buried for 2006 myself included. Now it is back on there is an immense sense of panic and rush to get the birds primed up for France. Preparation for our channel racing takes weeks not days , if l feel they aint ready they will not be going, simple as that.
  17. ???????????
  18. Fortune Lady was simply out of this world , without a doubt the best hen on the planet at that time. If she raced into Holland / Belgium the money men from the far east would have filled their pants A pigeon in a million
  19. Agree entirley with the Baggie Man , Ronnie is the man Stu - 1972 was the year
  20. We were at Portsmouth 300 miles , 50% home , 3 / 6

  23. Someone mentioned earlier that Eddie Newcombe won the title of British Fancier of the Year 5 times , a truly remarkable feat Who organised such an award , is it still organised today..... just curious
  24. Good one mate , he was a very close second behind my choice GWK
  25. Good question Silverwings..... no doubt many an argument will develop. My answer has to be Geoff Kirkland Why..... the guy is an absolute legend when it comes to national racing and his families win for others , our 3 national winners all contain Geoff's bloodlines.
