  16. Cheers Andy , most appreciated , good luck on Sunday Chris
  17. As a matter of interest Andy where are you scheduled to be racing from , we are at Cheltenham this weekend.
  18. Wise move me thinks Welcome Andy
  19. Absolutely Tom One instance a couple of years ago we had 3 hens paired up and 6 eggs in a nest bowl , they would all try and squeeze onto the nest , this created immense competition between them and the motivation to race home was great. All 3 hens were winners in no time at all including a fed winner. Chris
  20. Agree with the previous mails , from our experiences latebreds are not worth the hassle , they are only good for breeding purposes. Needless to say I know of some successful birds that were latebreds but they are very few and far between.
  21. Tom Whenever we have any single hens they are encouraged to pair up together. We have had a lot of success with Lesbian hens Chris

Absolute nonsense Clockman , I am deeply concerned about the situation as the thought of no channel racing will make our season worthless, I am sure that is the case for most fanciers who love national racing. Being a member of the SHU I am aggreived at the lack of representation at these important meetings. So forget the stupid and meaningless comments as to me trying to stir things up, I just want to know where we all stand. If you want to jump on your political soapbox do it elsewhere , this thread is about French racing prospects..... nothing else

So the SHU are going to be notified by the Scottish Executive....... god help us all. I am disappointed there was no SHU representation at the meeting , channel racing is Scotland's bread and butter , London or not there should have been someone there....... impressed not !!!!!

So where was the representation from the SHU B*llocks to Defra
  25. Stu You should have kept the Van Reets and sold the misses at an auction ;D Agree with your SVR thoughts, our small contingent we have originated from the first imports, they have been very successful for us , more so once we get over 200 miles, even had an 11th Open SNFC Vire with a SVR Chris
