  14. Hi All When I took my 10 year old daughter to the Blackpool show in January we had a look at the fancy pigeons, she fell in love with the Jacobins. She has since been pleading to have a pair or two. I am trying to find out as much info I can on them, obviously their management will differ, can anyone recommend any reading material about them. Likewise, where is the best place to buy some and who are the countries top breeders. Thanks Chris

  20. A fine thread by Derek, a good question with sound debate. My answer would be grab the pair with both hands, distance racing is the creme de la creme of our great sport, sprint racing is a doddle Stuart's point re; splitting a golden pair, it would be most wise to seperate them at some point, you will then have half brothers and sisters to pair up together
  21. We have donated a youngster but unfortunately there is nothing of a suitable age for the sale. The lucky buyer today will have a granchild of one of our national winners in the next week or two
  22. Any chance of us joining A truly great club, superbly run and one I wish I could fly in..... alas time to move up the M74
  23. Try Wickes, used them for years for the rolls of inch x half inch, good tackle and cheap
  24. It is the quality of the opposition that matters, not the quanity true long distance fanciers appreciate that..... Mind you, cant think of that many races since the new millenium where the SNFC have exceeded 1800 pigeons either
  25. Small or not it is a cracking transporter, I know my doos will be well cared for onboard and an excellent convoyer to match
