Many moons ago it was one of the highlights of the season being asked to donate a latebred for this sale as it meant you must have got a good one in the nationals ie in the top 3 of your section. A new transporter for the SNFC is an absolute must.....

Bart , I reckon our birds come up the east then attempt to cut across once they get over the border. This is blatantly obvious when birds in the Eyemouth area are timed in before ours on occasions. The First Sartilly race is sorely missed and I remember the attempt to revive it when we had 2 Falaise races in 2004, the first one was a perfect cobweb blower for the other races......

A couple of good posts there from the West Section lads and I agree fully with them. Stuart Mullen's bird was the best performance in Scotland this year. I would like to see both Scottish nationals combining together and take things from there. In terms of joint convoying I would prefer the North West of England organisations as our racepoints tend to be similiar.

In all the years I have dealt with Amtrak I have never had one single problem with them other than the price. However, all my needs in Scotland are dealt with SPDS, just wish they could operate south of the wall.....

Some great replys being posted with postive ideas and not a wiff of politics , that's how it should be. Rightly or wrongly I am of the thought that national races should be flown from over the channel (with the exception of the young birds), perhaps consideration to be given to the race programmes with regards to trying to cram all the channel races in a short period. Just a thought.....
