Aye I've tried just about everything, nothing seems to work, things will ease a bit now the trees are filling out and the hen goes to nest then the smaller birds will get it,and the rsbp will blame farming methods for the decline in song birds. The public are so gullible. Good luck with your start in this frustrating sport. Wishing you a good first season with young birds.

  10. Walter I wasn't having a go at the member with the conventional clock I sympathise with them as the ets has a distinct advantage, but hopefully in the near future everyone will have ets, as regards the positioning of the eats traps we could argue for ever about this but at the end of the day a lawyer would argue the velocity is calculated as time into distance so when the pigeon lands on the loft it has flown the distance.
  11. The measurements are taken at the front of the loft, so if the pigeon lands on the front of the loft it has flown the distance of the race so how it is timed shouldn't matter. Jmo
  12. Yes everything was very well organised and the guest speakers were brilliant, a night well worth attending.

I don't know the what reason for the losses were, it could be weather on route but the point I am trying to make is slating the national on here is not the answer take your complaints to the AGM. we had the same on here last year but when I went to th AGM not one question was asked about any of the races.

  19. That's what I mean Stuart neither are suitable when you have to queue outside, ok for channel races but not inland races with big birdages.
  20. Used it before Stuart far from suitable like Newmains queuing outside.
