    Peanuts,

U cannot beat peanuts imo, for sprinting and distance
  2. Plenty time as Delboy said my stock only just laid they 2nd round
  3. I'm a big fan and one of garlics biggest pushers especially in the winter period. My birds recieve garlic and cider vinegar on a daily basis, as with natural products they are not 100% effective unless used on a daily basis, this is what I found after talking to a number of top vets
  4. Yes andy, 10 degrees up
  5. Imo you can do more damage then good if they are not fit, I wouldn't dream of training any pigeon unless they been flying at least an hour a day for 3 weeks
  6. Keen as mustard, we'd have to organise a day to give him a visit he keeps saying for me to come see his new set up.
  7. The Lion?
  8. People that use it would they drink it themselves?
  9. Had one turn up few weeks back was lost on 2nd yb race. Came back hardly moulted everything washed out, rubber still on, jabbed it and treated it, and now flying really well with the team. Was hoping to get it racing but now it is back home it has just started to kick into the big moult, which i expected to be honest
  10. If ur young birds are being weaned after this weekend, yes.
  11. In london now we are getting 11 hrs 50 minutes of day light, it will be equal daylight before the march equinox at this rate, which is the text book date for putting young birds on the darkness, however because of the light hours, if u have young birds id be looking to darken em this weekend.
  12. Gevaert Van Schoorise does this ive fancied trying it let me know how u get on
  13. The reason why i asked Henk, was as i had a top racing hen last season that was winning and scoring very well, then all of a sudden stopped performing. Being me i dont believe form comes and goes, i searched for a reason, and noticed her tongue colour changed from the pink pigement it was when she was winning and scoring well to a blue tipped one when she wasnt scoring. As i said i thought it was associated with respiratory a few years back but a respiratory treatment never cleared it from this hen and henks explanation answered that for me
  14. I spoke to a vet regarding the tip being blue i always associated it with respiratory, however speaking to De Weerdt when henk visited epsom show he said it was a bacterial infection to which they have not found a cure for yet.
  15. It's good advice Andy , although In my opinion cider vinegar is good to have in the drinker at all times during rearing, especially as the canker levels in the parents raise just before hatching and just after, it helps to keep the numbers manageable and not become an issue.
  16. Strange one but internally she sounds like she's ready to lay but something is a miss.
  17. Always when I'm "sitting" on the throne
  18. Have you inspected around the vent?
  19. Andy, seems like a long time to be laying, have you tried her with a dummy egg? Sometimes this can bring em on
  20. Joe is and was a top fancier, however it doesn't sit well when having an entire clearance, and the birds are not making the money the fancier feels the birds deserve, by stopping the auction, then on the season to follow win the NFC. But in my mind he is a good fancier, however I've seen very few reports of people winning with his lineage.
  21. Well done lewis.
  22. Just like JAM, you need good ones and you need to be a strong selecter
  23. Lot 6 £30 Thanks Ian
  24. I would leave them and undersit two young when they hatch. Chances are if u put another bowl in and eggs they will not take to the new bowl. Probables is you'd never know which hen bred the young bird if they turn out toppers
  25. Jose parking the bus?
