  5. It's Lenny Mesher he used to race, but no longer does. He raced in my fed in the plaistow club, and once owned the local pigeon shop. Still has pigeons to my knowledge
  6. Sorry to hear this tam, but health must come first, I wish u all the best
  7. Roland Janssen and Janssen Gebr of Arendonk are two different people (partnerships) Phil. The most overrated was the Ronny De Dobbelaers, many many were bought by members on here and never heard of anyone having success with em? (About to be proved wrong now I bet)
  8. Hi Neil I'd be dubious on using it as a base mix, but it's dependant on your goals. For myself being predominately sprint orientated, as said in previous post I want to be in charge especially the protein content, as after Monday personally I want as little or as none protein content in my grain, as I then want high carbs and more importantly then carbs I want high fats. However there is a possibility you could use it, similar maybe to how you suggested, but with the amount of mixes on the market, you could achieve better and cheaper compositions from buying ready made grains. However no mix is perfect, hence the reason I try and offer 3 different brands and 3 different compositions to my breeders.
  9. Who are the ones that are saying then Alan?
  10. Who was racing em?
  11. I've never understood people advertising 2 bird or 3 bird clubs as a win, it has always been a side bet down here, nothing more.
  12. Personally I want to see not so good fanciers winning with the in names, when they start winning u know they are good birds and worth an investment

    Jumping

I have no hesitation of jumping pigeons, they don't know the distance they are flying, they only know they must get home. But in saying that the birds must be fit, 40 miles is nothing to a pigeon. Any bird u send to any race must be fit to do it's job if u want to be competitive though.
  14. Thanks guys his bred me a 3 fed winners as well, I am tempted to send him again but as the season approaches ever closer I'm bricking it and will probably just use him for breeding.
  15. Still waiting on this years cards, so havent been able to put all his positions together yet.
  16. Plenty of hotels near the Excel Centre London
  17. Multi- Task is a very nice mix, like many of the bamford mixes. However I don't think it is the full package, to do everything it states.Personally I want to be in control of when my birds get Protein, Carbs and Fats, during the racing season with Multi- Task being an all rounder you do not have this option. I am also dubious on it's protein content for rearing babies. However that being said it's variety to offer the parents is a good option, with myself using 3 different breeding mixes and feeding my breeders 3 times a day at least it may be a very good option. It would cover the moult easily.
