Be careful again (May 8) Most enthusiasts are (somewhat) older and especially they have to be careful. Even if they will start basketing again. It has been 2 weeks since Sunday when Charel Boeckx said to his wife "I am going to cycle." He did that at least once every day. Also in winter and also in bad weather. Because Charel was actually perfectly healthy. So he fell close to home and had it checked at the hospital to be sure. Before being allowed to be tested on Corona. Negative. Slight operation, he recovered quickly and could go home. The family happy. After all, nobody had seen Charel after cycling because every visit was prohibited in that hospital (Belgians are strict). It would be right, because then fate struck. Charel started to sweat and cough. Corona acquired at the hospital that was supposed to make him better. He died. Nobody can see him anymore. He will be cremated soon. Outside the cremation building, a few may watch the smoke. How hard life can be.

Great post, been looking at the prize money, bearing in mind WW2 had just finished 2yrs before and the nation was probably still being rationed, there was a good amount of pools to be won. Also some birds seem to have more than one ring number? Does anyone know the reason for this?

Yes, been using it on and off for years now. Tend to use Easy Bed or wood chip during most of the year, but find that starts to smell and draw the damp during the winter if left too long. Then put down cat litter which I find dries out the droppings much better. Find like previous posts that some have a lot of dust to watch out for,also some birds may try eating it to begin with. I put some down in my Dad's lofts last winter for him and he seemed to like it. Hope this helps.
