Lots of debate to go on before any West of Scotland Combine takes place. Although Im in favour of it in principle. already looks like any combine would be on Lanarkshire,s terms as your programme is set already. I know there was a meeting between federation officials 2 weeks ago but as far as the members in Ayrshire are concerned we still havent had any official communication from our top table as to the outcome, our AGM isnt till December and our race programme meeting isnt usualy dealt with till early February not a lot of time to make the neccessary arrangements.

by far the biggest majority of fanciers in Ayrshire appreciate the effort shown in getting these birds home, so thanks to the guys involved.

Well done Mick, Stiggy , Raymond and all the others who endevour to get the Ayrshire birds to Eban who is doing a great service to Ayrshire, and getting these birds home. Must be over 100 now thats been returned so far this YB season :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Never thought of packing in , might have to downsize in the future if finances change but there will always be pigeons here. I get a kick when even the late ones come home be it days, weeks , months after the races always impressed by the love of home and the determination shown by the birds to get here.

I have a few names for some of ours, but cant repeat them on an open forum , mostly full of F,s & B,s,lol
