  3. 1st Race Stubbs Camp 6 Short from 19 sent all broken latebreds from a friend who left the sport. 2nd race Otterburn 5 short from 26 3 latebreds and 2 broken older birds . tells its own story really.
  4. John Tannahill Kilmarnock. Auction sale of approx 20 Young birds belonging to the late John Tannahill will take place in the Kilmarnock Invitation clubhouse Warwickhill road Kilmarnock. on Monday 9th May at 19.30pm. There will also be a few fixed price Young birds on sale, John specially purchased these in the weeks before his passing. Viewing From 19.00 pm All proceeds will go to Johns Family. Please come along and support the sale and pick up a quality Young bird. A further sale later in the year of older birds will take place after the family gather their thoughts. A few items of loft equipment , Baskets , clocks including a Benzing ETS system never used and still in original box have been included in the sale.

  7. Ayrshire got a decent race IMO from Otterburn Liberating at 10.30 19/26 here but no complaints
  8. Kilmarnock 4 members sent 79 birds to Otterburn with Ayrshire Fed.

Ayrshire Feds Race Programme was voted for on the premis that we would be Joint Convoying with Glasgow and or others from Retford on excluding the SNFC races. also I believe to the final 2 YB races where a joint race was supposidly going to be tried out, where we are at this stage is unknown to me , I dont know if federation officials have met again to further this aim.

  11. The list is long and endless I honestly think its more to do with whoever is racing them and their methods than the strain of the birds

Used it a few years ago to cure very bad Salmonella / E coli infection , it knocks hell out the birds for a week or so , some didnt survive either the infection or the medication, those that did had no lasting effects , but use sparingly and remember to use a good pro biotic afterwards as it also kills good bacteria as well.

  17. Your right george, same scenario, my ets pad is inside the loft inside bob wires the birds have to physicaly cross the pad to be registered.
  18. What about , where a veranda is present, the ETS pad could be fitted under the veranda roof and is technically inside the loft , but the bird could be timed while sitting at the trap not inside the loft.

  22. had the same problems last year, we put cheap plastic roofing sheets from B&Q up £7 a sheet,not expecting it to last the winter but here we are in March and after the early storms its still in one piece and the loft bone dry
