Stuart Wilcox, Hope your'e right about them winning heavy down the South East coast. I am just drafting a few in from a good friend on PBs and I feel confident about it. He destroyed the competion last year flying North Road and has made an excellent start to the season this year so signs are good. Can't wait to give them a crack. I suppose as with any family, you have to get the right lines and listen to advice from the guy you get em' off.

In my opinion, if at all possible, youngsters should be given the full yb programme to put them in good stead as old birds. Darkness youngsters will do this for you, those that are kept natural will struggle because of feather condition, fallng heavily into the moult.

Took a thumping from Blandford with the Kent Cosmo. 7 short from 23 sent. Have since got two back, one badly torn up. All the ones missing are yearlings.

Hi Folks, I suppose I have had as much trouble as anyone in setting up my ETS. I was lucky enough to take the Red Card on Sat but there's nothing more certain that if I hadn't of had the system working, my pigeon wouldn't of had the 1st prize it deserved because I couldn't of timed quick enough to beat the 2nd fancier who was also on ET.

Hi Folks, Has anybody got a Benzing ETS system with it's own Club System or know of anyone who has. I need some info ASAP. Hoping to race Sat with it.

Here near Dover, sky is blanket grey with what looks like a South Easterly wind and quite fresh. Am told things will brighten up this afternoon. It's our first race of the season so good luck to all.

Rice ?? a fellow fancier friend of mine swears by it on a Fri afternoon, as the last feed before taking the birds to the club. They will eat the rice given and drink to their satisfaction and rice holds the water very well, birds don't need to go down for a drink.

Don't get me wrong, I do not like cats but I wouldn't be too keen to frighten them off altogether for obvious reasons. Keep plenty of Rat/Mouse poison down and a friendly rat hating cat. It's one solution.

Can't say which is the best, becasue I havn't seen them all working but I will say that the clock I have ( a Benzing M1 ) is an excellent clock. I have just aquired the Benzing Club system ( Ian McKay note ) given free by Benzing because I am the first person in our club with the Benzing ETS. It's early days yet but there are fanciers here with Mega and Bricon and it is our intention to use only the one Club System whichever that one may be, we shall have to wait and see.

Now to add to my previous post, had an issue with them last week and the outcome was excellent, they've come up 99% trumps. I'm still waiting for the 1% which should happen today or tomorrow, via the postman.

I think the best way to stop fighting in breeding sections is to have removable fronts on your boxes. Pair the birds up as normal ( behind closed doors ) good song that !!! and then take the fronts off and you'll find fighting is very minimal.

Wouldn't use clear because cats/birds of prey will be a nuiscence. Just make sure as I've said before, struts are at close intervals, no more that 18" apart.

There’s two feds racing north road into Dagenham, the West Essex and the County of Essex. The race programmes has only three races over 230 mile and the remaining 20/21 races can be regarded as sprint. The best flyers in the two mentioned feds race Gaby Vandenabeeles. And who might the two best flyers be Mr TONY C. ?

A pigeon fancier friend of mine is looking for a courier to transport 6 ybs from Cumbria to Sandwich, in Kent. Any courier on the forum that could help him. ?

Just finished a roof of a pigeon loft for my mate and as previously mentioned, with support struts at close intervals, it's good stuff.
