Of the photos posted on here, I don't think there's one that could be pointed at by any neighbour and told that it's an eye sore and I think that goes a long way. Credit to all.

Georgeous here today, in fact too hot I think for the birds. We were up at 6:50 from Littlehampton and had a terrible race for 88mls. More than 20 mins between pigeons and fanciers alike.

Four days ago, a lovely Bl C dropped into my loft and so he was fed, watered and rested for the night. The next day he was bursting to get out of his captive box. My Nephew was going to Ashford so to help the cock on his way, he took him. You guessed it he came back. Yesterday I took him to Gatwick on his own a distance of 80ml from me. As I arrived home, he dropped onto the loft. These animals never cease to amaze.

Skies brightening here now, still with a fresh NW wind. Just had my widow cocks home from a 30ml trainer, came well.

Kent Combine up at Tours 6:45, clear blue skies and a light North wind. Another steady race of 6/7hrs. Good luck to all those racing today.

Grey skies here with a promise of a better day later. Stil a very cold North/North Westerley wind.

Just heard the Kent Cosmopolitan Fed is up at Littlehampton at 8am in a light North Easterly.

Brisk NW wind with light grey patchy skies here near Dover, channel looks good.

Hi All, I had a pigeon enter my loft today with a ring No I have never seen the like of before so perhaps someone can help. it is registered as follows PL 096-03-4760 A lovely Lt Cheq H and it has an ET ring on.

If that mistake had of been made by someone in midfield by giving the ball away and leading to a goal, nothing would have been said. Green made up for his mistake later on in the game when he saved what looked to me like a certain winner for the U.S.A. Quite simply we should score more than one goal to win ANY game and Capello shouldn't have sent Scott Parker home.

Would Ravens attack or be a problem to our pigeons.? We have 4pr of them nesting and rearing on the cliffs of Dover. I would hope a pigeon would be too fast for them but I really don't know.

Don't think any of those that have a haggling injury Barry, King and anyone else who is not 100% fit should have gone. Feel desperately sorry for Scott Parker, he was the one man band for a West ham side that had no idea that a team mate was playing in the same colour.

Do make lofts, not sure on what size but any work that's done, is of a very high standard. Well worth a phone call.

I witnessed a 7:45am lib of the WNRF at DEAL this morning ( not Dover )and they cleared within 50 seconds. Fair play to the cconvoyers checking through the line of flight and caring for the birds as they do.

Hi Blithy, My mate ordered six last year for 2010, don't know if he's got them yet.

Placed an order with Taylors Choice a couple of days ago and was pleased to get a call saying the product wasn't in but would be in a few days time and delivered. Not a bad service that.

Not a lover of the new set up.

Must have plenty of cash if people are sending them thinking they won't come back and who on earth would keep racing pigeons to compete if they thought they wern't good enough. Wouldn't of wintered them.

Visited a rare breed centre to day and came across a handler of hawks, falcons, etc. he had on his arm an Eagle Owl and after a few questions were put to him, he told me their gaining popularity further North and you can buy them ( as he did ) from the centre and his cost £150.

Purely for my own peace of mind Roland, I want to do what I consider is right. Should others have different Ideas then I wish them well.
