  2. Thanks for that Mike. Really pleased you like the boxes and appreciate that little bit of extra detail. Great to meet you and 'Trina, we'll talk again soon mate.
  3. Maybe Jacob if you told the members what part of England you are visiting it would help them, and hopefully then someone would be able to organise a loft visit or two.
  4. Definitely needs a roof.....try miniwave PVC from B&Q.
  5. A good Powder Blue, that's my favourite.

  10. I would like to think the cancellation of the Dunoon International Show wasn't looked upon as a case of it 'falling apart' Brian.

    Bikes

In a previous life I sold / maintained bikes. If it's just for work, and a bit of keep fit, don't even think of spending that sort of money. When you're looking at different 'types' of bike, have a look at what they call 'hybrids'. I think that's a good bet for you. Should be well covered at £200 - £300, anything more and it's a mixture of sales talk and the bike is too high spec. for your needs.
  12. Great gesture Gary. Hope you can do the double again this year. Will follow with interest.
  13. Agree with Phil. I have never had to, nor would want to, add anything to their diet. The body weight for showing should be a natural part of the individual pigeon. If you do change your feeding in an attempt to make them gain body weight, there is a very fine line you walk between natural body weight and fat. With show racers, a good judge will know the difference, once they handle the pigeon.
  14. N.Ireland.
  15. hi folks, have for sale 4 blocks of widowhood nest boxes made from 18mm ply and ply wood back. Front edges trimmed with mahogany. All joints are glued and screwed/pinned. £50 per block of 4.
  16. Thanks for that info Eamon. Didn't know they existed.....and fairly close as well !! Any info on opening times ?
  17. Well, that would do it for me......I'd be staying at home.
  18. Best wishes Pearse, have a great day
  19. I'm surprised that the bigger suppliers of pigeon mixtures don't have contract growers. This guarantees both your supply and your price. Surely they aren't buying their needs on the open market. This leaves them totally vulnerable to both supply and cost difficulties.
  20. My only concern now would be, is that OK the buildings may eventually be clean, but are they safe ?
  21. Book for sale - Captain of the Queens flight by Len Rush.(now out of print I believe) In very good condition considering age. £18.00 including postage within UK Interest by PM only please.
  22. Basically John, you are not permitted to sell live animals on E-Bay. It's one of their own rules. In saying that I have seen live fish being offered for sale, and still are !!

    Banshee

Was just out the back of the house watering a few veg. and just heard the cry of the Banshee. By the sound of her she was very close. Maybe too close. Hopefully, and with Gods' Grace, all will be well. Have said a quiet prayer, so am off to bed. God bless & keep you all.
  24. Glad you're back on site, Brian....best wishes for coming show season.
  25. Was thinking the same thing...may need inertia brakes, also worth checking new legislation re: running/marker lights. Also think you need separate 3rd party insurance for trailer. Best to have it all sorted before commiting to the road. Only trying to help.
