am sure we had a jump of 200 miles a couple of years ago

john you are obviously not very good at geography . look at the distance the north section guys get we dont stand a chance with the little amount of overfly we get compared to some of the other race points there is 30 or 40 miles even more missing some place ? . take a look at a map if our doos in fraserburgh are to take a straight line from ypres to fraserburgh how much dry land would our doos be flying on after the french/belguim coast ? none until it hit our lofts about 480 miles of water do you boys think your doos would fly over that amount of water not a chance i think its about time the west section (IMO the guys in the center of the country ) stopped feeling sorry for them selves and got their finger out. the guys that are at the top of the list when the distance starts increasing you never see them on here moaning why cause they what they and their doos are capable of dooing.i also am not one for thinking that a pigeon should earn a silver award for flying ypres 3 times into the west section 400 and odd miles dear me man we race further than that in our fed races . look at the bluetooners silver award doo maverick that doo had to fly just short of 2000 miles to earn it not half the distance get a grip guys and learn to fly not sprint . rant over good luck to all for clermount

i could,nt agree more with you chris how the doo managed to get up here on the day in such bad conditions is credit to the doo and alec .fantastic performance flying into the hardest section of them all to fly into also considering the crap overfly we get fantastic open posistion .well done alec the best doo in the race IMO pal :emoticon-0156-rain:

crazy just shows the heart these scottish doos must have to fly that distance in such bad weather conditions fantastic just hope some more make it home

i think the hardest race in the world is every race the lanarkshire boys have to flyinto central scotland must be hard for them . :crying: ^_^

thankfully i havent got any doos away to this race . i stiil cana get my heed roon a doo making up in the north section in this weather unbeleiveable performance . well done alex one of the best doos in the race imo :emoticon-0156-rain:

i was at olivia,s funeral today and i must admit it was one of the saddest things i have seen . absoloutley heartbreaking . my heart goes out to olivia,s mam and dad steven and lauren it dosent bear thinking what they have went through poor souls .R I P wee princess

1 oot of 4 for me just missed out on a section ticket but still chuffed getting 1 hame . i feel its a pity it was raining fae dundee up to aberdeen as it was a perfect opertunity for gold cup to be won up here again but thats doo racing for you. well done to all who timed and even more luck at the next national who did,nt time in from this one .

yip its nae often i agree we you walter but the we the way the wind was the north section should of had the doos on the day but the heavy rain sorted that oot . it realy annoys me when you get some people saying that the west section will time in after the north boys when the west is full o doos and not a doo hame on the day in the north obviously some dont realise how easy it is up here .some folk dinna realise we are at the other end of the country
