i dont think winning money has anything to do with it if you speak to some of the older fanceirs they think money is ruining the sport . there is proberly a lot of the older fanceirs that are not interested in the inland nationals but would like to send to the gold cup but understanderly wont pay the 26 quid to join for the one race . if you include the price of joining the snfc and sending 3 doos and the price of fuel to take them through to the marking station you are speaking the guts of 50 quid .imo the way to maybe get more fanceirs to send would be as long as your a member of the shu you can participate with no fee needed to be payed .do this for the gold cup only and put the subcriptions fees at a tenner a head for for membership for all the other races . :emoticon-0138-thinking:

i would agree with sammy here LOWER THE SUBSCRIPIONS . 26 quid is a lot of money if you havent got it along with the price of the birdage some fanceirs maybe just cant afford it :emoticon-0138-thinking:

my best race of the year was consett 195 mile winning 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 6th fed which was a good team performance . was also 2nd north section( behind bluetooner) 209th open eastbourne 489mile winning 531quid which was a good individual performance :emoticon-0137-clapping:

hi johnny i have some widowhood dvd,s you can have a look at .one of my club mates has them just now i will get them back from him and take them out to you . if i was going to fly widowhood i would go and see george duthie and ask his advice jmo.

there is a guy up here in fraserburgh thats got 2 lofts for sale i think 1 of them is 18 by 6 and the other 24 by 6 if thats any good for you

i got threatened with eviction from my house in 1996. i had the head guy from the council down to my house i showed him my doos and told him we have 3 options here .1 you kill all the doos as i,m not doing it . 2 you take down the shed and let the doos go wild and they will stay on the house roof and you will never get rid of them or 3 leave me to control my doos as they do no one no harm that was 15 years ago and i have never had a squeak from the council since . my neighbour that complained about them ended up knocking on my house door and apoligising about them . good luck stand your ground you will be ok .robbie

even though i did very little young bird racing this year . i have a wee belguim hen bought fae leir market that won our club,s 2 longest youngbird races 1st consett 205 mile and 1st ripon 246 mile even though there was only small birdage she still won them both nae bad for 15 quid :egyptian: :egyptian:

i had the twigs and stones like you bakes i think it was early this year apart from that in my 6 years of useing bamfords i have no complaints
