Phil I agree with you 100% about the postal vote but only for the race programme . I know of fanciers in my own fed that don't go to the AGM as they feel that if one of the bigger membered clubs want a race programme to go through they go heavy handed so they feel its a waste of time going . Don't speak so much muck what do the mac,s race is it not the vanden belles there was a sale on here not to long ago from a fancier in the west and his doos were mostly van reets .one of the main problems is all the auld long distance doos have been diluted down with the sprinters

There is 2 pubs next to the ground the bellslea bar it will be busy and the leisure centre cheaper pint .

George good doos properly motivated and set up for the race in mind won't be far away from the result if you have a wee bit of luck in which we all need . Regardless of which section we fly in imo

Got to agree that the silver and gold awards should only be for doos that have scored in races of 500 mile plus . I feel that it is making a mockery out of the system for talking sake getting a silver or gold award for timing in from Ypres 3 or 5 times as we all know Ypres is not a long distance race it's more like a middle distance for most it's the easy option .

Roundabout no brainier . I would have 3 5 foot sections 1 we nest boxes and 2 we perches for my young eens and the other for the roundabout hens . I race my hens in a 6 by 6 section but if you take in the width of the nest boxes they are in reality a 4.5 by 4.5 section so you dinna need to have a big team of doos or a big loft to do well we the doos jmo

Nah stating the obvious there are we . As regards of the race programme it should be postal votes cause I dare say the majority of the members in the snfc are OAP,s and maybe through either health or financial reasons are unable to travel .lets stop thinking about advantages and put our dying hobbie at the fore front and do what's best for our pigeons not some s ego,s JMHO

Thankfully a fancier that is not selfish . For me the likes of Dundee would be perfect even though it is still a good 2 hour drive from where I live
