i got birds taken up from leeds 3 weeks ago by saltaire couriers they use G & R couriers to help get the birds up in to scotland . i was 40 quid for 6 youngsters taken up from leeds to fraserburgh could,nt fault their service

Sound advice about not sending them over the water I would say Lewis . I normally do well iin our Feds longest old bird race from Hastings/Battle 483 with my yearlings but never have sent a yearling across the water nor I don't think I ever will .each to their own but I don't think I have heard of any good ones up here that's flown the channel.

Bob McDonald did them a few good turns all those years ago and he is still the same to this day he would help anyone out with pigeons. Bob Whyte is fair chuffed that Lewis has done this thread on his partnership with George one thing for sure their likes will never be seen again up here in a fraserburgh .Well done Lewis for bringing back all the happy memories for Bob a proper gentleman .

He would tell me anything I wanted but I am of the opinion that it worked for you but might not work for me so for that reason I do things my own way . Even though it maybe not a bad idea trying things the way they used to do it
