Pigeons dont sweat they have no glands for that. However i dint think it matters if you can part the keek feathers easily or not. I think it down to the temp in the loft and outside in the summer months. I think their easier to part at that time and the birds are in condition and hopefuly form. I have parted the feathers around the keel a few days before basketing and they have still came up trumphs so i dont think it matters.

What is the programme can someone not put it up on here or is it another secret.

Shocked and saddened to hear this news. Spoke to fred a few times on the phone over last few years, he was a mind of information and a very good fancier. Condolences to the family at this sad time.

Sounds like a good loft to me. Would deffo been interested del but after a house move recently a could only just fit in my two lofts into the garden. Bye the way one of my lofts is from Ecco lofts so I know it should be a good loft and once the lucky buyer gets it erected at their place it'll be worth the effort and money well spent.
