Not in 3- bird club but had birds at same race Tiger. Got one the other morning just after the race cant remember what day now and another one yesterday morning, so 2/3 home now. Was glad to see both them tho.

Theres a lot of mysterys going on and heres another one. If that realy is the case with the transport arrangments then its time more fanciers were aware of it. I bet a lot of fanciers dont know about the above. To add insult to injury its costing the members of the SNFC more money.

Ive seen the transporters painted a few different colours but not enough of them are painted white. I personally think transporters should be painted white to help reflect the heat.

You might be right stuart ( hotrod) there maybe is a virus affecting the health fitness and homing instict off our humble racing pigeon.

Now hearing reports of birds from Arras being reported accross Belgium and Holland im affraid.

Yup Stuart just gotta be the worst National season ever. The SNFC had better do something. The SNRPC have just had there worst race % wise since its inception, and they are usually good. Returns are anything but good im affraid in this race though. Just dont understand it. Somethings wrong and people are scratching their heads for answers. However their previous two races both flown further out from Reims Had good returns with some members getting full returns. Dont think for a minute the SNRPC will change any of these race points because the truth is theres nothing wrong with them. Realy hope more birds turn up from this Latest Arras race as they have also like in other dodgy channel races this year been through an ordeal.

They basically do subsidise the longest and if it was up to me Del, and its not, i would take them out of the averages. Ive been saying it for years feds should amalgamate for races of 300ml or more. The birds would get a better line into their own area and could keep costs down. No need to fly those distances at National level.

Also can someone tell me, why cant the Ypres race be the last ob race on the calender instead of Falaise as it is. If Falaise was flown a wk or two earlier the obs would be in better wing condition. Lets face it Ypres is a shorter race and could actually be flown as the last channel race of the season when the obs are further on in the moult. Just a thought.

If the SNFC must have inland Nationals then just have one from the south coast. Say Eastbourne or Maidstone. Or maybe even Dover theres a racepoint there.
