  4. Also got a 3yo cock home today from his last training toss for the last channel race ripped open at the front and only 4 tail feathers left. The water is just running out of him as well. Sick and tired of it, year in year out. Already got some good birds (best in the loft) out of action because of Perigrines. Finding it hard to to get them set up for the channel due to the above, cant even get them into the starting blocks! So realy what chance have ye got!!! :emoticon-0179- headbang:
  5. Their still flying m8, they fly in same club & fed as me.
  6. Ok m8 just wondered cause theres been a few birds return late in the evening from some of the channel races. By that i mean birds that were not in racetime and been out a good few days. Maybe they think its safer to return late evening or very early in the morning.

  21. Nice one Colin well done m8 a very worthy Section winner and as good as any in the race in my opinion. It will live in your memory for a very long time indeed!
  22. Thats good to know Jim. As a matter of interest what are you feeding yourself Jim in the build up to these up coming channel races Jim ? Or in your opinion what would be good feed for the channel ie what brands makes or brand no. Or how much % of beans, peas, maize, wheat etc.
  23. Congratulations Johny!
  24. Ok Colin thats fair enough how u do it m8. Used to feed more beans myself before, maybe i'll go back to feeding them a bit more than i have been these last 3/4 years. Funny how them that make up the feed and sell it put lots of different carbs and all the different maize in the bag. Looks pretty all the different colours, but im not realy convinced. Prices rocketing up as well. What do others think ?
  25. How much beans were you feeding Eastcoaster (Colin Greive) in the 2 wks before basketing before Alencon m8.
