  1. Agree with the lads above one of the best distance men in Scotland without doubt in my eyes.
  2. If it had been north of aberdeen I could of helped but portlethen is south and about an hour and a half away. Hopefully someone closer can help you out
  3. Well done on winning the fed Andy. Is there a fed result for last week from auchendinny?
  4. Thanks everyone doubt I'll ever have a week like this ever again. Got a call from Andrew Garven today to say we was 1st North section 63rd open Guernsey and now I've just won our longest club race and my Grandas memorial trophy. Couldnt believe it when I went out to the doocote yesterday never expected anything as the rain was pouring down along with Thunder and lightning even hail stones at times but I had 2 doos in the doocote with another 6 sitting on the house. 2 of them came down when a whistled the other 4 hung about until the weather cleared and went on their way. Been really proud of my doos this year and after 20 years of being at the wrong end of the result sheet the last couple years I've finally managed to get up amongst the leaders in a very strong club with some great fanciers that I have always looked up to.
  5. Thanks everyone, been an amazing week. Appreciate all the comments and congratulations to everyone who has got a bird home. Am sitting here waiting for my doos from Maidstone 460 miles with the fed. Also the whole reason I started the doos as it's the race i can win my grandas memorial trophy for the first yearling so fingers crossed would be the icing on the cake 🤞ðŸ¦ðŸ†

  14. It's cool phoned Alan so Peterborough been knocked on the head and possibly Auchendinny next week instead of Dunfermline as its turning out to be a tricky kind of race point
  15. So are we going to Peterborough the following week and is auchendinny instead of Dunfermline?
  16. I thought the lads on radio came across well. And good to hear members of public messaging in about how fanciers have made arrangements to get their birds back, and hats off to the lad who made a 200 mile round trip to collect his bird. Least it shows the public we care about our birds.
  17. Cheers for the update alan, will this upcoming race be instead of Peterborough or will be going to Peterborough next week?
