  1. Maybe not so good for the NOS fed but if the fanciers supporting the new club have better returns and it's better for the pigeons then I dont see the problem with it. The welfare of Our birds should be the priority.
  2. Fair play lee, would love to give your programme a go. Keep me posted please. Your right fanciers are getting disheartened as the racing seems to be getting worse yet we will still go to same race points so I would be happy to give it a try
  3. Am up for it, how much does the rings cost? Where do you get them from?
  4. Well done team Wilson. Not just on this result but also on the other 2 Nationals as well.
  5. Was wondering if anyone could give me the phone number to the lorry driver for the SNFC please, thanks in advance
  6. Should of said, sons daughters and grandchildren off national winners
  7. Thankyou Roland, happy to let them go as I've plenty for next year, also agree latebreds treated right will come good especially as 2 year olds. I've sons daughters off national and children off national winners and also section winners in the snfc so hopefully they do a turn for there new owners

  9. Thankyou andy, and cheers for the info the other night greatly appreciated Thank you very much every one that's the birds all sold .
  10. Thankyou very much, sold 6 already so going good, probably only have about 20 as I'll float the eggs so they just have a single youngster.
  11. Thanks Andy, like a said am nae in doos to make money never have been never will be hence the reason I've only sold birds for charity before. Gave away loads aswell but this time ill let the kids keep the money, they are saving to go to legoland. I never raced that 2 birds you got up the road for me . 2 cracking cocks they turned out to be from jones and sons valeview rita. Thanks again for that.
  12. After having the best season I've ever had I have let my doos pair up and ill let them rear a single youngster as a reward for having such a good season. My team of doos are predominantly long distance birds made up of Dickens and wilkinson, Derek Hay, House of Aarden also in the stock loft Calum Miller Alwyn Hill Stuart maskame,Davie and calum mcdougall and jim Donaldson .All exceptional long distance flyers. I also have one pair of Vandenbeele who have bred me a fed winner with 1000+ birds. I am not in pigeons to make money and dislike the commercial side of our sport, and have only ever sold pigeons for charity before but this time I am going to let my kids split the money as I haven't been able to treat them much lately as I was entitled to zero help during the lock down due to the timing of setting up my new buisness. I race in a very strong club Deveron Valley (Banff) with 15 members unfortunately due to the Covid we only had 6 races up to 300 miles. I was lucky enough to win 3 of them along with a 2nd in another. My doos also won the avredges for me along with some yearling trophies and 1st 2nd any age gold ring race. They will be £15 per bird and I'll easy sort out the courier or come and pick your own. Eggs are due to hatch next week if anyone is intrested please get in touch.
  13. aye hopefully dosent come to that, and it dosent effect you guys too much
  14. Was a pleasure, and to see how happy your kids were was reward enough for me, hopefully you get accepted into a club and start racing next year. I'll breed a few more next season for yous 🕊ðŸ¦ðŸ‘
  15. One of the best photos I've ever seen. Where can I find out more about the treatment please?
  16. What will happen if yous are still on lock down when the young bird national comes around? Where will the lads north of aberdeen go to basket our birds as we arent on lockdown but shouldn't be travelling into aberdeen
  17. Well done everyone that got a bird, and gutted for my club mate Gogs Wilson who clocked at just after 5pm today but accidentally wiped his clock while trying to put his youngsters away to the race. The bird has flown well over 600 miles and was heavy pooled.
  18. Great performance George, really happy for you
  19. Out of curiosity what are peoples thoughts on last bird closes the race and first bird in morning opens it again?
  20. Aye been very lucky this season. In the previous 15 years you can count my wins on one hand then this year I've won 3 out of 6 races along with the avredges, but more importantly to myself and the family we have won my granda Waldys memorial trophy only the 2nd time in 20 years. so a bit of a dream season
  21. Kept 3 back for it 2 cocks and 1 hen.
  22. The feds website will have number on it. Www.nosfed.co.uk
