I took up this subject on the 18th nearly a week ago ,and in a way im sorry because all that its done is opened up a situation of what ifs! .I think the politics of our hobby could overtake the reason we do it ,i think if this comes in its up to the delegates voted in to sort out at top level, they are the people to sort out what can and what cant be used .I think if there is a flyer in your area that has good results its usually down to them putting the time in and having a good team o doos.PS I have just read the above post from the RPRA rule book this surely clarifies a lot does it not, as i see it dont give your birds anything you might be unsure of.

I think that there is no such thing now as a pure strain the names they have actually come from a miss mash of different peoples birds .After all the years gone by since Barkers, Osmonds, Grooters ,etc were top of the game there hasnt been crosses ,i dont think so!! .So choose a few" breeds " cross them and make your own strain.

Well i asked the question ,and i am surprised really with the amount of fowk that think its being done (drugging i mean) .The thing that i would be saying is that it would be a very costly affair to test birds .I think yes ,certain substances could be banned by all unions ,what they would be i dont know but i am sure a vet,chemist could give a ruleing on what to ban.There is a helava lot of potions out there.

Just now trying to breed i am using 1bag Breed&Wean 1bag Protien Economy 1bag moultin mix ,mixed together and thats it grit,mineral block once a week and water,fed by hopper and let them get on with it.

I have tried the treatment thing when they get sick ,you might get them over it but as sure as anything they are the ones that get lost first even from tossin ,a built in abitlity to throw of infections is what i will aim for.I think the normal treatment for worms ,kancker, cocci is a must other than that no .
