  7. John would have had his instructions before 7-45a.m. if the S.N.F.C. cant be bothered putting the information on their web site then thats a matter that should be addressed at the A.G.M. untill then John by putting first hand information on P.B. is a step second to none and should be congratulated on giving this service.May I wish all those who have entered birds the very best of luck in what looks like being a difficult race ahead.....JBC/... P.S. hope you have a safe journey home John...
  8. I would advise you to make contact with a fancier local to yourself and ask him to guide you along the way,you say you only bought them yesterday so they will be very strong on the wing and not ready to try outside your loft untill they have settled in and seen their surroundings......seek advice I am sure someone near to you will help you.....good luck...JBC/..

I will tell you what would be iteresting,if both organizations put any differences behind them and lets have one National flying club where all members in Scotland competed to-gether again......JBC/..
  10. I believe the difference is that Lanarkshire federation was the furthest north,no chance of their birds following the drag past, like the possibility that Solway and Cumbria birds may have done,I.M.O......JBC/..
  11. Had it been Fife,Dundee.Angus&Aberdeen federations at the same race point as Lanarkshire, would you still be wanting a joint liberation.? dont think so.......JBC/..
  12. John,Iam sure members listen to those that know what is good for the birds, although I did not have birds at the race it was good to get an update on the birds by yourself on P.B....atb..JBC/..
  13. Looks like your windowers are begining to hit form......ex.result coming at the right time...ATB Graeme.

  22. Hello "hawked again" I can understand why you lads have introduced a breaking point, but many federations reach far and wide and members just have to put up with it every week, they know even if they win their club they have very little chance of getting on their federation result, the question I ask, is what you are doing staying within the rules of the S.H.U. their rule states that members must have their flying distance measured by the great circle system by approved measurers. You state that you submit the official result to the federation......Sorry I am not versed in how your club flys,is it independant or do you fly as part of a federation where your members can win federation positions? I do know that there are quite a few members in the fancy that would like various organisations to adopt breaking points, Cheers,...JBC/...
  23. If you feel that all should use a breaking point theN no use putting it up on P.B. put a proposal in at the A.G.M. OF THE S.H.U. My question is/ is it not contradictory to the S.H.U. rules as It stands at the present time ?.....JBC/..
  24. Is using a breaking point not contradictory to Scottish Homing Union rules ?
  25. If all fanciers were to take the various chances to show the public what breeding and racing pigeons is about like this fancier took the time to do more interest and dare I say understanding towards the problems the birds face from B.O.P. "well done anto b".........
