It would be a NO from me for a few reasons. Firstly there is no time at basketing to get a potted history of each and every birds training or lack of it, when it was hatched, was it on darknes etc etc etc. Also if the guy is not there at the time to make the decision as to its suitability to enter a race then it is a NO. Secondly we have all heard about them 'slipping through the net' and going on to win but I think they are few and far between and strangely people are never keen to let you know when they fail (appreciate Davy Hogg's honesty on this one) Thirdly flying in a fed that stretches nearly 100 miles from East to West it would be a NO. Maybe different if the birds were all flying into a small area. So to summarise it's a NO from me.

Yes we are Lewis. Basketing has been delayed 24 hrs, now basketing Friday for a race on Sunday 497 miles to me.

But Elgin is in the West Danny!!!! And that is a whole new thread! Bigda as it is 19 hours on the shift into a westerly location and they are at an unfair advantage!!!!! Like I said you couldn't make it up. :emoticon-0136-giggle:
