  6. No member knew the lib site was changed as far as im concerned.
  7. Thank fk, Whitley bay is a terrible lib site. Still no text to say the doos are up, if you hadn't put this on Stuart we wouldn't know expletive remove.
  8. Good stuff Brian.
  9. Would that wind not give you the first drop in your fed John lol.
  10. Dehydration, especially in ybs, is the biggest cause of losses in early races ( apart from Bop ) The birds receiving a drink before liberation is paramount and the importance of this cannot be emphasised enough to convoyers. The space in a crate to allow birds to circulate to get a drink is also very important . How do we make birds have a drink? I think races over 300 miles the birds should be given a tiny feed of seeds a couple hours before lib. This almost guarantees birds will have a drink after they have a pick. The problem is with ybs?at early races though, how do we force them to drink before being liberated?
  11. Get them away Wattie. Im emptying the dookit as my wee doos are going to the seaside lol
  12. Saturday afternoon looks the best Wattie. I know Almond valley marking in the morning and having a race tomorrow afternoon. The weather looks ok after 1pm.
  13. The time it took you to write that you could’ve had our result done Andy 😂
  14. Pity the SNFC and SNRPC couldn't put the races back at least a week. Two thirds of the country wont be ready for the races and i'm positive they will be the lowest entries EVER.
  15. Well done big man
  16. I watched Novos pigeons coming in today, 3/3 in 18 minutes, happy days.
  17. I had 35 or 36/47 in 35 minutes and never seen a doo for almost 3 hours. Got up to 40/47 last night and had 3 today, 43/47.Glasgow Alnwick 103 miles
  18. Well done big man
  19. I started this thread with the knowledge that October/November yb training actually works. In fact, I’d say it’s definitely the way forward and can back that up with the 2 or 3 guys that have won at national level doing it. This isn’t a coincidence, the ybs are stress free and able to train and be educated without as many bop attacks. If you have yb racing early, you are interfering with the ob season, expletive remove, it’s stressful enough without adding ybs into the mix.Imagine breeding your ybs at a normal time of the year, no darkness system needed, racing your obs and then having a holiday. Come back refreshed and then get set for your yb season. What’s not to like ?
  20. Spot on.
  21. Most folk know it is correct Gavin but are frightened to be seen backing anything away from the norm. Cheers big man.
  22. Im almost sure the Glasgow fed will try something to change the state of play. We are a forward thinking fed and were one of the first to use ETS and purchase Geraldys. Its up to every other fed to follow suit.
  23. I'm not sure a survey is needed m8, I think everyone knows a change is needed and is the only way forward without breaking the law.
  24. I definitely think it’s time to try something Robert.
