Best thing for the sport is doing away with the inland nationals and concentrating on this sort of thing.

All I’m saying is this, every pigeon raced in the uk should be given a deworming / delousing drop on the back of their neck prior to going into the first race basket. Keeping them healthy and clean should be very helpful for returns in future races😉 This should be written into all clubs constitutions and adhered to😉

In business, as you know,you must look to the future and who your clientele will be. Well, in my opinion, this venture is looking to the future as we all know it is inevitable that we will eventually all be together anyway. Lanarkshire’s clientele is Glasgow, Ayrshire etc, etc so you are correct in what you’re doing, building bridges and bonds, FOR THE FUTURE .

I totally agree with flexibility and my wording of making a name for yourself has been taken out of context, AGAIN lol. Im saying, flexibility is definitely the key to success, BUT, we all must play the game with each other instead of pulling in different directions. The mentality of the pigeon sport is f kin appalling , oneupmanship ruling the way, with folk laughing up their sleeves at feds getting hammered as long as they are ok. Does Lanarkshire continue the race program until they've flown all the races , regardless of when it stops ?

If Central are going on Thursday then we all should follow suit. I agree, folk are terrified to push them over 60 miles nowadays.

I think we have no chance this weekend so what do we do ? In my opinion, if their is a chance of a midweek race then EVERYONE should do it, not just the odd fed trying to make a name for themselves, EVERYONE.Have a later lib to accommodate the workers. I also think with the poor start to yb racing this year the both nationals should be looking to put their races back a week. They could alter the H.O.D to suit.Whats yer thoughts ?

Well done lads

Racing from Kelso today I got 5 together and then 7 together a few minutes later. Got a couple singles and then nothing for 50 minutes. I thought, here we go again but unbelievably 18 doos came together and hit the loft??? I got a single again straight after them. I waited a while and then got 8 in 2 minutes which I found strange again. All these doos were fresh as paint. At clocks I had 46/59 but on the way home I got a text from Linda saying 4 landed together, the time I answered her it was in fact 5 together ?? this after 5 hours flying. The time I got home there were another 2. Up to 54/59 now, strange race to say the least but well done to big Stu the race controller. Great returns and time for more to come.
