Homer, Is it not got something to do with the daft West Coast route that the Midland Fed races? Maybe a wee bit of give and take required or strong leadership by the officials. Why not race East of the Pennines to 160 miles then cross over to Stafford/Uttoxeter area for the remainder, which may or may not avoid the mainstay of the Falcons which seem to wipe your birds out early doors. Nobody wants to see federations splitting up.

I dont think so. I've not got the qualifications as these guys mentioned or the slightest inclination. Its hard enough to find the time to report on my own club & fed during the racing season.

Allan ,The problem is with our own fed. The deadline for resolutions for the AGM was Oct 31st, thats why I called a club meeting beforehand, for proposals where you should have brought it up, and I could've submitted it.

Johno, I'm a fully paid up member of the SNFC and entitled to my views and freedom of speech on this debate. As a member I'm not happy with the current top table (not all the delegates) but the so called leaders and will be voting against their re-election providing there is suitable nominees.

Wouldn,t it be even better if the 2 nationals could go together for Alencon or Reims, considering 90% of the country flies that route. Rennes was a romance at one time and should be left like that, its time to move forward not backwards. I'm one that remembers the last few Rennes races and they were poor. Cant remember a bad Reims or Alencon!!!

Another good race this week in the Pentland fed from Newark 220 miles. Timed 11/12 in 1 hour and 15mins.

Where was the bad race? Obviously the people losing pigeons dont have them in the condition they need to be in, to race at this time of the year.

Have you any Scottish pigeons in as we lib at Thirsk at 1320. Birds came great for 20mins then nothing, although I got 2 in the dark at 2020 and 2106 last night. Unbelievable!!!!! but true.
