    MIDLOTHIAN DELAY

Blaz, Read what you posted, then read what I posted with regards to the THREAD, which is a DELAY in basketting. You said Raymond is the man, and I said Bobby decides when they go and Raymond looks after them on the transporter, which is how it happens. You seem to be getting cross wires as do your 5 members, also read eastcoasters posting saying Bobby got it right again. I think he meant right for basketting on Friday, as everyone and there dug knew they would have to be liberated early to get a race.

  3. At the moment yes, although when it gets warmer and drier with the sun shining for a week then past experience tells me the cocks cuff the hens out the park, no contest.

  6. Have to agree with Stuart, I've had them from the best sources and they've been okay youngsters but crap old birds and there's very few different breeds that I've had and not been able to make them perform to a certain degree.

  9. Got to agree with Gareth on this one. I've had Unikon since 2001 y/b season and not had a problem once, (touch wood) although the last minute updates are a joke.

  17. Sounds LIke paramyxo to me. A few people I know have got youngsters from the same source this year and bucketed them right away. Although your older birds IF VACCINATED shouldn't have caught it.

    widowhood

Leave them at least an hour early doors and longer as the season progresses and let them come and go to their nest boxes. Most fanciers make the mistake of locking them in their boxes too long.
