it has taken me 20 years plus to get my own loft again and don`t care how long we have , i love my pigeons and this harsh winter must ,must take out some of the percy`s out there (i hope )

going on the theory of 1/20 are any good i would have to take one off the nat winner , i am lucky enough to have 4 bred from nat winners in my stock loft but the off spring are still to be tested as they are all long distance birds. but how many parents breed 2 nat winners !!!

stopped at the petrol station at the tesco express in airdrie today , on the roof of the flats oppisit was a very scruffy looking percy sitting all huddled up . Hope it was starving .

i`m sure i have a young cock out of the baxter hen in lot 2 i got from john this year , he is a topper in the hand or was until he ripped himself on the wires , so lot 2 i would think is the same type . not worked all week or i would have had her by now . still thinking

if they any good they should`nt be more than approx £22 m2 inclsive of sand and cement for facing brick , foundation and brick not included as brick are allsorts of prices and need wall size for foundation .

it`s no thawing here either (greengairs, airdrie) we have a foot in the back garden and at least 20 inch in the front , been here less than a year and seen more snow than the rest of my 52 years ,What a place . lol lol

i`m a bricklayer and work in the edinburgh area ! we have a fair bit of work on but the money is total crap not getting to work at all this week because of the snow and freezing temp`s so pretty grim , building game isn't well and will never come back .

thats because i have 2 off the pretty ones over here del , unbelievable results great flying and sure it ain`t gonna stop there .

trying to get there myself (said that last year too) as i have a bird from brian leadbeater to collect also , will let you know in plenty time , thanks for holding on to her ! have finnished the stock loft so she can come anytime .

All these are true as i posted a few weeks ago that they got into my stock hens and i had to kill 2 good hens (too far gone before i noticed )but there are conflicting idea`s that they need to eat the slug i believe this is not the case .

The Superstar was a racing machine and well known in the pentland fed , he even scored from the channel at 9yr but think i`m right that he never bred nowt worth talking about .

When i first started as a 14yr my grandad bought me some racing pigeons (only had street`rs) from a joe hodgson who won rennes in 1955 , he gave me a wee dk cheq g/d from it and told me it Will win out of rennes for you ! it became ma pet doo hated sending it to the races in case she got lost she survived ! so off to rennes she went as a 2yr it was a hard race and she never came on the night as i sat till 1 am waiting then got up at 3.30am and waited and waited and just when i was about to give up she arrived at 11.15 when we (flew with my brother)timed her in i cried with joy that she had flown 536mls for me fantastic . she took 350 ish in the open against 5000 plus doo`s but i could`nt have cared had she won the race she was home , i know she has not won anything like some of the fantastic doo`s you guy`s have had the pleasure to own but boy did she inbed me into pigeon racing for life . 38 years ago ps my brother had a doo win 28 races and a hell of a lot o cash ,THE SUPERSTAR
