got mine yesterday less than 48 hrs good service

like hot rod says the bird beating 5000 doo`s is no better than the one beating 300 , in our own case our hen that was 3rd open bovington was also 5th fed wetherby 693 birds 15th fed newark 418 birds but was still good enough against 5000+ with the snfc , as they say you can only beat what is put in front of you .

why no barley ? it`s very important to the young !!

i mix 40%breed& wean 40% breeding 5% barley 5% gem pellets 10% beans then as the come off the milk the beans will increase upto 30%

I`m in same boat ( all yearlings ) just moved to the west o scotland and hope to try a few at the nat`s but will try them at the inland nat`s first to see how they cope and like gareth said if they show something exrta just before the water races i will have a go ,the breeding of them are D hay /R combe /P virtue /J donaldson so the blood is there ! the bigger question is am i good enough to get them right ???.

well in 2010 i have vandenabelle/jan arden/frans zwols/deweerts/soonjens/laffy daffy`s/ jim donaldson`s/plus some strags from kirkintiloch so think i have enough , but have a pair of Brockamp`s coming and that will be it .
