hi mate the guy wouldnt give us his address so we asked him to take the bird to a fancier near him ,this he said he will try to do in the next couple of days , but if he can`t i`m trying to find someone who could collect it for me until i can get there for it at the weekend as i don`t drive.

i thought the same (poor vent)but also found them in the avery (not cleaned for week) but was told it was the yeast content in the droppings ,

fingers crossed he looks on the mend thanks , had a fancier visit the other day seen him in the nest box and said he should be in the show pen lol and thats with a broken leg lol

i had 15 ybs at armadale this morning approx 9 mls got 3 together 1 3/4 hrs later i still am 5 missing it had to be percy as the last one home has lost most off its tail.

thanks for replys he is in a box with plenty bedding food n water so will see how he go`s, as for racing him he is the son of a scottish nat winner so he will go in stock loft if he cant race , he`s a belter of a pigeon too !but they always are that get lost or hurt .

anyone any good at sorting broken leg on a yb !! i would have a bash myself but it is broken right at the top at it`s body , or will it be ok on its own ? in Greengairs ,airdrie

had 8 strays on my roof last night 3 were lanarkshire 2 were fife doo`s (could`nt get the numbers ) all were soaked through offered feed but they only wanted to rest all gone this morning . i tossed my ybs in 2 lots 8 mls today 1st lot took 3 hrs (4th toss same place )1 missing , 2nd lot 15mins (1st toss )????? what the hell is happening to them . you are dead right mick we are a very secret lot ornisol can be given 2 days before basketing so it cant have any side affect !! ps never trained them anyway .

some agree some don`t as was expected ,this was giving as helping hand not as treatment ! but it shows the differance of opinion when you have top fanciers on both sides of the devide. can i ask how many treat for canker/cocci/para before the breeding or racing season ,i personally see no harm in it if thats what the fancier think makes them go.

Thats how i was looking at it mick . i just want to give them the best chance i can when training.

i get what your saying ! but making sure their tubes are clear before putting them through a hefty training program is helping them not harming them surely (i hope ) it is a similar regime before the old bird season and i has never done them any harm . but i do accept your points thats why i put this up for discusion and opinion . they are on ornisol not ornistop sorry .

can i train my ybs while on 4 day coarse of ornistop for respitory ? not racing so am only at the 10 mls stage it would be their 4th toss from there . they are`nt showing any signs for this just thought it best to do now before i take them further. colin grieve

Glad they are all home mick , i had one reported 20 mls from me the guy said it had a broken wing so i said i would go get it at weekend ! gets up next morning it`s sitting on the loft wing hanging but ok.the guts she has shown me i will give her the time she needs to heal.

very well done to mr hodgson has to be worth hearing how he does it time after time , also well done walker&wilson 2nd open clermont 1st 0pen arras on same day fantastic flying again would love to listen to these guys methods !! and both partnerships are gents .

2 class fanciers 2 totally oppisit results once they leave the loft who knows what happens !! well done del (hope the wee hen i have has some of that in her ) and gareth knows next year can be totaly differant. colin

you are dead right chris as someone who will be racing in the west after flying in the east with my brother, the AGM is very over powered by the west guys now, it used to be the other way round ! the last agm someone asked why we keep changing our nat race points and it got no explenation execpt we had a bad race from a,b,or c, why are we racing from ypres ? because a top table member almost insisted we do ! where are the other orginisations from down south who were going to be joining this remembrence race ??? go back to the old programme of years gone by sartily,rennes,nantes,sartilly, you will still get your sore uns but that is what the SNFC was created for .
